Intellectual property protection. Envirobale® has an active patent and secrecy protection program for its technology. The first patent application was made using the PCT (Patent Co-operation Treaty) which potentially extends the IP protection to 130 countries including the USA, Europe, Japan among other major countries. Envirobale® has now lodged a second provisional patent application covering further refinements to the Envirobale® system. Envirobale® has a registered trademark in Australia and a trade mark application throughout North America. Envirobale® has a design registration in Australia in respect of the bag. Envirobale® will take all action necessary to protect their intellectual property and thus allow them to protect their invention outside Australia.
